Internships
Below you will find descriptions and photos of the internship experiences I have completed during my time at Clemson University. The internships can also be found on my resume under the professional development tab.
Sports Medicine Institute
August 2022 through December 2022 I interned at the Sports Medicine Institute in their Sports Performance and athletic training sectors. At the sports performance institute, I helped write warm up plans, workout plans, and help with marketing. With the athletic trainer, Stefanie Cox, I learned how to provide stem, cupping, and taping for different injuries. I shadowed concussion testing protocols and return to play evaluations.
DSA Sports Performance
I spent the month of July working in Atlanta at DSA Sports Performance with Lily Abdelmalek. I primarily worked with NFL players in their off season training on speed and agility work. I shadowed and helped run the field workouts, sand pit workouts, hill training, and indoor skills training.
Excel Rehabilitation and Sports
August 2019 through December 2019, I interned at the Excel Rehabilitation and Sports physical therapy center. We worked with patients ranging from young kids with sports injuries to older adults following a fall or stroke.
