For my graduate thesis dissertation, I focused on soreness disclosure from athletes and athlete-led recovery usage. I implemented a communication plan and evaluated its effectiveness over the course of the 2024 football season.
I worked on a team to research and present the characteristics of eutectic mixtures, and how co-crystallization and thermal degradation can influence a eutectic mixture's ability to be used as a topical anesthetic. For reference, I completed the sections on co-crystallization and thermal degradation.
I worked on a team that researched type two diabetes and the data attributes out there, primarily focusing on data from the National Diabetes Statistic Report. For reference, I completed slides 5, 6, and 7.
I researched relevant background information on dead zones in the oceans, their causes, and suggested possible solutions to the problem. I presented the information on dead zones in the form of an infographic for public education.
I compared and compiled research studies that examine the factors that could be contributing to sleep habits amongst college students. Using the data from the various research studies, I suggest possible interventions that could be made to improve sleep habits amongst college students.
I wrote and presented a persuasive speech on increased priority on athlete protection and safety within sports organizations. I research and suggested possible strategies sports organizations could take to increase athlete protection and empower athletes to speak up when injured and against mistreatment.
I worked on a team in general chemistry lab two to collect data on the composition of soaps and detergents and which compositions would be best for oil spill cleanups. Each group member was responsible for their own report, so the work above is entirely my own.
